UNIVER.SYS is an original universe by Rizzonen, first uploaded on OS-tans.moe in April 4, 2023, before being moved to Moeverse. Later, the UNIVER.SYS Wiki was made as the next step of the universe's documentation.
Overview
UNIVER.SYS is a character universe project inspired by the moe personification trope, more specifically based on technology. The universe doesn’t follow a singular, overarching plot, but rather follows the lives of various Techne, characters representing real-life technologies, from different places and time periods.
Setting and Tone
UNIVER.SYS is a constructed universe inspired by video games, divided into distinct regions. Each region is home to its own Ensembles—territories of Techne that function like states or cities. These Ensembles draw inspiration from real-world tech companies, reimagined with creative liberties.
The tone of UNIVER.SYS is most lighthearted and comedic, sometimes with moments of seriousness or drama that highlight key characters and time periods. The setting focused on humor and character dynamics rather than adhering to strict technical accuracy or striving for a 1:1 recreation of computing history.
