Windows 7 Ultimate DSP × Touch Mouse Campaign

Microsoft Japan launched a campaign on November 4, 2011 promoting Windows 7 Ultimate DSP, featuring Nanami Madobe and a limited edition of the Touch Mouse.

The campaign proposed a limited edition bundle, the Windows 7 Ultimate DSP × Touch Mouse Limited Pack (Japanese: DSP版 Windows 7 Ultimate × TOUCH MOUSE リミテッド パック), for 5000 copies of Windows 7 purchased from participating stores[1].

The pack is a box containing the copy of Windows 7 Ultimate DSP, a limited edition of the Touch Mouse designed by Deanne Cheuk and exclusive[2] to the pack, and a plain white 2 GB USB stick with

  • A video introduction to the Touch Mouse by Nanami
  • 3 new wallpapers
  • 24 Nanami sound effects

The participating shops may also have included their own perquisites such as participating to a drawing of lots for a Nana Mizuki (Nanami's Voice Actress) concert or a Nanami Keyboard. Already during the launch day, the pack sold out in many stores[3].

The pack's full name is Windows 7 Ultimate DSP × Touch Mouse Limited Pack ～Nanami Edition～ (DSP版 Windows 7 Ultimate × TOUCH MOUSE リミテッド パック ～ななみエディション～).

USB Stick

Its content is included in the Nanami Madobe's Sweet Memory and Windows 8.1 Pro DSP Release Commemorative Packs, though the folder structure is different, the "readme" file is a 2 page PDF rather than a single page RTF Document, and the Christmas and New Year wallpapers don't have an exact copy but a .jpg with different compression and metadata. The other files were left untouched. The wallpapers come with their original .psd files and a few drafts.
