The Trouble Windows Opening (sometimes referred in Japanese as とらぶるうぃんどうずOP, Trouble Windows OP) is an interactive Flash Animation featuring OS-tans and published in 2004.

History

The SWF file was published on April 18, 2004 or a few days earlier[1] on the Heika-Love's personal website (hosted by Cool.ne.jp)[2].

It seems to have quickly spread worldwide, with mentions of the original link from outside Japan appearing as early as only several days after the publication[3][4].

This Flash animation is possibly the most iconic OS-tan work nowadays, and usually one of the first found by people newly interested in the field, if not the one that introduced them to OS-tans.

Description

The Flash animation shows a fake opening of an imaginary Trouble Windows anime. Clicking or moving the mouse at specific places or instants trigger alternate images or animations.

Japanese subtitles are displayed, though they are also fake and do not match the actual song, It's a cherry kissing explosion (Japanese: さくらんぼキッス～爆発だも～ん～), written and sung by Kotoko, and first released during the Comiket 63 held from December 28 2002 to December 30[5].
