SeaMonkey-tan (Japanese: SeaMonkeyたん), also nicknamed Mon-ko (モン子), is the moe personification of Mozilla Application Suite, a discontinued cross-platform integrated Internet suite, which was codenamed SeaMonkey.
History
She was designed by Worito Kaidō, and published on their site on July 14, 2005, three days after the debut of Nvu-san.[1]
She appears in several artworks of the Moezilla group.[2]
Character
SeaMonkey-tan is portrayed as a gothic-themed planktonic mermaid girl. Her current design is her adult form, and she was said to have a larval form.
She is Firefox-ko's rival, and likes to play and share snacks with Thunderbird-ko, who is around the same mental age as SeaMonkey-tan.[1]
