Palette Crew is a TAN music supergroup started in 1985 by Vicky, who ended her solo career and began to focus on forming groups. First members to join were her former rival Connor and her sister Kairi. Palette Crew were soon joined by the Albin-based Synknights Kaleido Group member Zach, who was once a competitor to Kairi.
The early days of Palette Crew brought a lot of challenges, including competitive tendencies among the members, and their respective Ensembles' skepticism about teaming up between former rivals, at best seeing it as merely a pragmatic alliance. However their encounter with the other idol TANs, including disgrunted rival TANs, would set the stage of their fire-forged bond.
Visual Style and Genre
Palette Crew is themed around pop culture, video games, and overall, having fun. Their style tend to have bold, colorful patterns and eccentric hairstyles. Their music style are mostly in the 1980s pop genre, including dance-pop and electropop.

- The name Palette Crew references the computer systems the members personify, which are all capable of color graphics.
- In fact, the members' outfits are color-coded and has a rainbow motif.
- Vicky's change from solo performances to groups is based on how the Commodore VIC-20 was discontinued in 1985.[1]
