Nvu-san (Japanese: Nvuさん), also known as Nvu-neesan (Nvu姐さん), is a moe personification of Nvu (pronounced "N-view"), an open-source WYSIWYG HTML editor based on Mozilla Composer.
History
She was designed by Worito Kaidō, and published on their site on July 11, 2005.[1]
She has an appearance in at least one of the Moezilla dōjin titles, such as one titled Mozilla-sama is Watching (Japanese: もぢら様が見てる) from December 4, 2005.[2] She also appears in several artworks of the Moezilla group.[3]
Character
Nvu-san is portrayed as a secretary in a formal suit, who is able to check spellings and grammars. She is bilingual, but finds Japanese to be difficult. She is able to change her appearance with "Extensions" and "Themes".
She is often made fun by Firefox-ko whenever she made a display error on browsers, which left her frustrated.[1]
