Ichigo-chan (Japanese:イチゴちゃん) is an official one-off mascot of the magazine Dengeki Daioh.
History
Ichigo-chan made her debut alongside the May 2010 edition of Dengeki Daioh in an original supplementary artbook titled "Dengeki Daioh: Strawberry Jam". This is the only time she has ever been seen, but is referenced as an official character.[1]
Most of her most recognizable artwork is drawn by Youta. The artbook contains 52 pages featuring various illustrations of her. Pieces in the book were illustrated by artists such as; Yasu, Kei, Ikuta Takanon, Matsuda98, Nagian, and Soumatou.
Portrayals
A supposed 14 year old magical girl, with a cat companion named Michi.[Challenged]ⓘ Not much else is known about her. English information is very sparse, due to the fact that she was once ripped and plastered onto an anime Wordpress fansite who claimed her as an original character that they owned without permission.[2]
