Digital DIY established Usage Guidelines for Tōko Madobe. Note that these guidelines were written under the pretext of, and are only enforceable within, Japanese law, meaning they are not legally binding to any individual outside of Japan.

Summary

Digital DIY holds all the rights to Tōko Madobe. In the case of non-commercial use, the guidelines below must be followed. Changes in the hairstyles and costumes are allowed. The user authorizes Digital DIY to use their derivative works at request.

The character may not be used in any way that Digital DIY deems inappropriate, which includes and is not limited to registering Tōko Madobe or derivative works as a trademark, using her in a degrading manner, in a manner contrary to the law or public order or morals, infringing on Digital DIY's or others' intellectual property rights or other rights, or misleading the viewer into believing that a specific individual or group is endorsed.

No guarantee is provided when using the character and derivative works and Digital DIY shall not be liable for any damage or liability arising in connection with the use of Tōko Madobe.

When using a derivative work created by a third party, please also comply with the usage conditions set by this creator.

Use on the Moeverse Wiki

Digital DIY implicitly allows any non-commercial uses as long as the given guidelines are respected. Use of Tōko Madobe on the Moeverse Wiki for documentation purposes do not fall into the prohibited uses, and thus materials featuring her are deemed to be Licensed for the purposes of the Moeverse Wiki.
