Comic Market 85/Microsoft Japan

Microsoft Japan has exhibited at Comic Market 85 to promote their products with limited and exclusive goods featuring the Madobe Family and Ruri Azumi, as well as Inori Aizawa and DJ Yuzuki from the Road DJ navigation application in a collaboration with Honda.

Organization

• From December 29, 2013 to December 31, 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight
• Booth 313, exhibiting from 10:00 to 17:00 JST (16:00 on the last day)
• Cosplaying from 10:00 to 16:00 JST (15:00 on the last day)

Products and Moe Merchandise

Five sets of Microsoft Products or Moe Merchandise could be purchased at the event.

Set A: Windows 8.1 Pro DSP Winter Comic (C85) Limited Set

The set, in Japanese DSP 版 Windows 8.1 Pro 冬コミ (C85) 限定セット, cost 18,000 yens and includes a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro DSP as well as the following perquisites:

• A Large Shopper Bag featuring Nanami, Ai, Yū, Claudia Madobe, and Ruri Azumi
• An Ema featuring Yū and Ai
• A Keychain among two possible ones featuring Yū or Ai
• A Keychain featuring Inori Aizawa
• A Postcard featuring the same illustration as the Large Shopper Bag
• A Coupon for 20 GB of SkyDrive Storage
• A Clear File featuring Claudia and DJ Yuzuki, distributed in all Sets

In addition, one buyer could be selected in a lottery to obtain a Clear File signed by Kanae Ito, the voice actress of Ruri Azumi.

Set B: Windows 8.1 Pro DSP Shop Original Set

The set, in Japanese DSP 版 Windows 8.1 Pro ショップオリジナルセット, cost 18,000 yens and includes a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro DSP as well as the same Moe Merchandise as Set A, except the Large Shopper Bag which is replaced by a Small Shopper Bag featuring Claudia.

In addition, one buyer could be selected in a lottery to obtain the signed Clear File.

Set C: Madobe Family Original Tablet Set

The set, in Japanese 窓辺ファミリーオリジナルタブレットセット, cost 60,000 yens and includes a C22L Windows 8.1 Tablet which includes a Ruri Azumi Theme Pack and a preinstalled copy of Clip Studio Paint Debut, as well as the same Moe Merchandise as Set A, except the Inori Keychain and the Postcard. In addition, a Tablet Case is also included, though it is unclear whether it is one among two featuring either one of the same illustrations as the Shopper Bags in Sets A or B, or if both are included.

In addition, two buyers could be selected in a lottery to obtain the signed Clear File.

Set D: Visual Studio Winter Comic (C85) Limited Set

The set, in Japanese Visual Studio 冬コミ (C85)限定セット, cost 56,000 yens and includes a copy of Visual Studio as well as the following content:

• A Small Shopper Bag featuring Claudia (the same as in Set B)
• An Ema featuring Claudia
• A Keychain featuring Claudia
• A Cushion Cover featuring Claudia
• An USB Memory containing 3D Models, presumably of Claudia
• A Clear File featuring Claudia and DJ Yuzuki, distributed in all Sets
• Voice Data of Ruri, it is unclear if it is included in the USB Memory or another medium.

In addition, four buyers could be selected in a lottery to obtain the signed Clear File.

Set E: Madobe Family Original Keyboard Set

The set, in Japanese 窓辺ファミリーオリジナルキーボードセット, cost 13,000 yens and includes a Painted Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard among five (four featuring a single Madobe Character, and one both Windows 8 Twins), as well as the following content:

• A Large Shopper Bag, the same as in Sets A and C
• An Ema featuring Yū and Ai, the same as in Sets A, B and C
• An Ema featuring Claudia, the same as in Set D, only comes with the Claudia Keyboard
• A Clear File featuring Claudia and DJ Yuzuki, distributed in all Sets

Trivia

• It is unknown how many of any of these Merchandises have been distributed.
• Unlike in the previous iterations, all the Merchandise was exclusive to the event and could not be obtained in another context.
