Comic Market 84/Microsoft Japan

Wallpaper made for the event with designs used for the exclusive merchandise.

Microsoft Japan has exhibited at Comic Market 84 to promote their products with limited and exclusive goods featuring the Madobe Family and Ruri Azumi.

Organization

• Booth 162, exhibiting from 10:00 to 17:00 JST (16:00 on the last day)
• Cosplaying from 10:00 to 16:00 JST (15:00 on the last day)

Common Merchandise

The following Moe Merchandise was distributed in several lots that may themselves feature a main Merchandise or specific ones:

• An Illustration Collection of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe CD-ROM
• 3 A1 Tanzaku Posters featuring Nanami, Yū and Ai, or Claudia Madobe
• 2 Telephone Cards featuring Nanami with Yū or Ai
• A Shopper Bag featuring Nanami, Ai, Yū, Claudia, and Ruri

•

Illustration Collection of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe

Its full title is Comic Market 84 Exclusive! Illustration Collection of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe (Comic Market 84限定! 窓辺ななみ・ゆう・あい イラストコレクション).

The disc contains sketches of pictures of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe, that were eventually used in campaigns or for wallpapers, as well as the Seven Color Generator song and a Madobe Family Tree. However, it does not contain anything from the exhibition.

Painted Keyboard Set

This set features a special Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard with an illustration of Yū and Ai, and also contains the Illustration Collection of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe CD-ROM, one Telephone Card among the possible two, one Poster among the possible three, and the Shopper Bag.

In addition, a Cover Sticker for the Surface RT featuring the same illustration as the Keyboard was distributed.

Azure Set

This set features the Get Started for Free, Windows Azure × WordPress Super Introduction Book (無料ではじめるWindows Azure×WordPress超入門), which notably contains the Cloud Girl Comic. The set also contains the Illustration Collection of Nanami, Yū and Ai Madobe CD-ROM, one Telephone Card among the possible two, and one Poster among the possible three.

In addition, a Shopper Bag specific to this Set with the same illustration as the Book Cover was distributed.

Availability of Merchandises in Other Contexts

• The Windows Azure × WordPress Book is not a limited item and can still be purchased.
• A very limited number of the Illustration Collection CD-ROM, the Posters and the Bag could be obtained after the exhibition.
• Other Campaigns also distributed the Phone Cards.
• The Kinect for Windows Special Pack could also be obtained during the Kinect for Windows Campaign and the previous exhibition at Comiket 83.
• The Shopper Bag from the Visual Studio Set could also be obtained during the previous exhibition.

Trivia

• The Claudia Madobe Figure was already exposed at Comiket 83, but unobtainable. The present exhibition was the only way to obtain the Figure.
• It is unknown how many of any of these Merchandises have been distributed. It is only known that 1500 Kinect for Windows Special Packs were distributed in the Kinect for Windows Campaign, but not how many were additionally produced (if not reallocated) for the Comic Markets.
