Bootleg Idol Academy, or BIA, is an original story universe following anthropormorphized versions of bootleg, pirated, and unauthorized versions of operating systems.
Backstory
Bootleg Idol Academy is the name of the musical idol group created by Kasumi Rodo. Within Bootleg Idol Academy are several subgroups based on the operating systems that the characters correspond to.
Bootleg Idol Academy takes place in the Operations Academy, a prestigious school inside the internet for every operating system to achieve their "intended purpose". The school is split into two groups, the "officially recognized Operating Systems" and the "independently recognized Operating Systems".
Officially recognized Operating Systems are created with one intended purpose, to serve as an operating system and meet the commands of its user. However, independently recognized Operating Systems have no defined intended purpose, and are technically free by the rules of the school to do however they please.
However, the staff of Operations Academy have a lot of prejudice towards unauthorized systems as they deem them unfit to be marketed towards users. Unauthorized systems have a much lower form of education at Operations Academy due to lack of attention taken towards their individual needs.
Authorized systems have restrictions on what they can do. They cannot participate in groups of any kind, as their only focus should be on fulfilling their intended purpose. In turn, unauthorized systems do not have those restrictions. Once Kasumi Rodo realizes this, she realizes all along that unauthorized systems do have an intended purpose. To become a world famous idol group!
Characters
BIA: XPize
- Kasumi Rodo - The first person to realize the potential of an unauthorized system-led idol group. Rodo is the creator of BIA, and the leader of the subgroup BIA: XPize (a group for systems in relation to Windows XP). She is a rapper.
- Denren Buta - The first member to sign up for BIA. She is a dancer.
